Scary, scarier, scariest - What Lies Beneath Reviews
This is definitely one of the scariest films of all time. I literally jumped out of my chair while watching this in my own living room with 5 or 6 other people. Harrison Ford is, as usual, very believable as Dr. Spencer. Pfeiffer is equally believable as the fear-stricken Mrs. Spencer. What makes this film so scary is, I think, the reality and humanity within the story. The terrifying scenes are built much like a Hitchcock film with the audience knowing full-well of an impending shock several minutes in advance so as to savor the fright effect. A great and memorable film.
