The scariest thriller since the sixth sense - What Lies Beneath Reviews

Before What Lies Beneath, Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer had never really been in a thriller film, and I don't think they were ever in a film together. But then, Robert Zemeckis tried his hand at a thriller film, and he put Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer in it. Norman and Claire Spencer think that they're happy living by a lake in their new home in Vermont, and their daughter has just gone to college. But then Claire gets suspicious about her strange neighbor, who may have murdered his wife. But there's more problems. The doors open and close, the radio turns on by itself, and a picture of Norman at one of his achievement ceremonies keeps falling down. Norman sends Claire to a phyciatrist(Joe Morton) who tells her to try contacting whatever is possesing the house. But then one night while Claire is alone she shouts, "Who are you?!" And then, written on the steam-stained mirror is: YOU KNOW. Is Claire imagining things? Is there really a ghost? Could the ghost be the wife of her neighbor? Or is it someone else? You'll have to find out for yourself. What Lies Beneath was directed by Academy-Award winning director Robert Zemeckis. Zemeckis won his award for the classic film Forrest Gump, but he also directed Contact, Romancing the Stone, Back to the Future, Death Becomes Her, and even Who Framed Roger Rabbit. His most recent film was Cast Away. In November will be released his latest film, The Polar Express. But no matter how many great movies he makes, What Lies Beneath will always be one of his best. It's the scariest thriller since The Sixth Sense!
