(can't think of anything catchy) - What Lies Beneath Reviews
Terrific thriller.
The scariness of this movie lessens after you watch it ten thousand times but it is still really good as a movie. It is directed with style and vision, very elegantly. Michelle Pfeiffer is terrific in this movie.
This movie will make you jump, laugh, and it can be pretty creepy if you're alone in the dark. I think this is a classic movie and the second best of 2000 (the first being "The Emperor's New Groove"). This is just some of the amazing things Hitchcock would've done with special effects. Except this movie isn't as boring as his are.
People say this movie is slow but I think it's entertaining. Long, yes, but very good and exciting. His movies are slow and stupid and pointless. And you'll see homages to "Rear Window" and be reminded of "Vertigo" and "Rebecca" and what not. Forget cinema history and lose yourself in this great movie.
